A job at IKEA is much more than just a job. Those who work at IKEA know this, but how do you make this clear to everyone who doesn’t? This was the question IKEA sought an answer to. Together with IKEA, we identified the five core values of working at this great company and translated them into an integrated employer brand campaign that showcases what working at IKEA is truly about.
Approach
For the employer brand campaign, we created a series of videos focusing on IKEA’s core values—values that can’t be measured in money or, in this case, salary. These intrinsic motivations are what drive people to choose IKEA as their employer. Under the overarching theme “What works for you, you know best,” we highlight various aspects such as social impact, working in a diverse and inclusive environment, and a place where creativity is encouraged.
In the execution of the videos, we used a studio setting, creating five different sets, each tailored to one of the five identified core values. In this setting, we see IKEA colleagues working together, building the set, highlighting something, having discussions, or simply working, reflecting the diverse environments you can also find in IKEA’s showrooms.
